The durum wheat sector:

Expertise in the upstream agricultural sector for durum wheat , with the cooperatives.

Panzani is France’s leading processor with 470,000 tonnes, accounting for 30% of French durum wheat production and 70% of volumes processed in France.

Mastery of every stage of processing, in our own seed mills and manufacturing facilities, located in 2 regions, north and south, close to where durum wheat is grown.

Semolina and pasta making expertise:  

The men and women who work every day in Panzani’s seed mills and production facilities in France use their unique expertise to produce top-quality semolina, couscous and pasta.

The tomato sector:

When it comes to our sauces, we favour tomatoes grown in the field and in season*. The tomatoes are harvested when fully ripe, in the middle of summer, and processed within 48 hours, to preserve their quality and nutritional properties.

We source as locally as possible, mainly from Italy and Spain, and since 2023 we have been sourcing from France too.

Panzani is committed to revitalising the industrial tomato sector in France, which is currently in deficit (2023 production: 160,000 tonnes, French industry needs 1.1 million tonnes).
